My favorite “destination” trip is to Northern Ireland. Starting out on Royal Portrush, site of this years Open Championship, is one of the best pure golf experiences on earth. Once you are warmed -up, get ready for Royal County Down. This is eighteen holes requiring every shot in “the book”. Scary at times but rewarding at others … is the best description I have of my favorite course in Ireland. Have fun!
