I would change the rankings of top courses by price…categories like unlimited price, under $500, under $250, under $100 etc. It would be more fair.
In any case, Pebble is the best public course I’ve played. The setting, the routing, the breathtaking views, the underrated inland holes, and the dramatic flow from fairly easy to really challenging through 8, 9, 10.
A close second is Pacific Dunes. Best seaside links course in the country.
