I have been fortunate to play golf all over North America so it will probably surprise most that my favorite private course is located in Hamilton, Montana. The Stock Farms is an amazing place that Marcus Daly, an old Copper Baron envisioned . A Tom Fazio design set-up in the foothills of Hamilton, MT. Conditions are beyond immaculate & the layout is fantastic. Because it is so remote & very closed doors, you have this eerie feeling you may be the only golfers on the course. Lunch following in the beautiful log clubhouse is a must. If the opportunity arises, do not pass it up! It is an amazing experience in a very beautiful setting in the Bitterroot Mountains.
