How old were you when you got started in golf and what eventually pulled you into becoming a golf professional?

I started playing golf at the age of 28 when I built a house in Windance Country club. I was in the Air Force at that time. I was medically discharged after 12 years of service. I loved the game so much I decided to make it a career. So at the age of 30 I started my new career as a golf professional.

How do you stay current with the latest developments in teaching methods?

I stay current with teaching methods through hours of studying slow motion video. GOATAGOLF has recently partnered with Bryan Gathright who is a lifetime Top 100 teachers. Working with him has showing me a whole new look at teaching the golf swing.

What are 2 trends in golf that you’re excited about?

First golfers are starting to understand that golf is about movement. Working with golfers from the PGA to high handicappers exposing them to GOATA Movement the more they understand how it is important to start from the feet up.

What has been your most challenging experience with a student and how did you handle it? How did you overcome it?

Explaining to a student that the way they move trough the day will effect their golf swing we call it the 90% will effect the 10%
