How old were you when you got started in golf and what eventually pulled you into becoming a golf professional?

I started my journey in golf after finding a broken club when he was about 13 years old. Upon finding this artifact, I walked away from my love of tennis. My enthusiasm brought him from his father’s farm fields to the local public golf course where he shot 104 for my first round. Inspired, I tried out for my high school golf team and shot 70 on nine holes. The coach promptly told him me didn’t make the team. Within 15 months, I was a scratch golfer. After college, I turned pro and played competitively all over the world.

How do you stay current with the latest developments in teaching methods?

I rarely miss a PGA Show as I find it irreplaceable for networking and meeting other golf professionals who share my enthusiasm for the game.
