My favorite golf destination is the country of Ireland. I love the destination for many reasons. I think they have the best number of world class courses throughout Ireland and Northern. You need to go there multiple times to be able the play all of the greats, but there are too many for one trip. You need to pick a region per se, and play all the great ones within an hour drive and stay in that region. Then you plan another trip and do the same thing. I would say you need at least three trips in order to get to all the favorites. What makes it the best is also the accommodating people after golf. They are warm and friendly everywhere you go. So golf in the day and pubs in the evening, makes for the best trips in the world.
